Coalition CareLine

Program Overview

The Coalition CareLine connects foster and adoptive families to crucial support services, resources, and referrals with a single call. Families gain access to educational, mental, physical, and behavioral health resources.

Our specialists bridge communication between families and community partners, including child welfare professionals, case managers, court personnel, and other service providers. This ensures families receive timely, tailored referrals and advocacy, empowering them to provide the best care for their children.

Eligibility

  • Residency in St. Louis City, as well as the counties of St. Louis, St. Charles, Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln, and Warren.
  • The child is impacted by the foster care system.

Program Goals

Our main goal is to connect foster and adoptive families to immediate support, stabilize placements, and provide holistic care for children impacted by foster care.

What to Expect

When families contact the Coalition CareLine, we conduct an intake and assessment to understand their strengths, needs, and family dynamics. Based on this, we create a personalized support plan, which may include regular check-ins, assistance navigating the child welfare system, advocating at meetings or hearings, and providing emotional support. We help families access key resources, including:

  • Virtual check-ins & support groups
  • Telehealth access
  • Medication & pharmacy delivery
  • Government assistance
  • Financial, education and food resources
  • Mental health support
